1Stoney Creek Plantation HOA is located in Leland, NC, approximately 10 miles south of the Cape Fear River Memorial Bridge off Hazels Branch Road which directly terminates onto Rt 17 North on each end. The closest city is Wilmington, NC which is located on the Cape Fear river.

The Stoney Creek HOA is part of a larger sub-division called Stoney Creek Plantation, however, not all of the homes are part of the HOA. The HOA comprises 50 homes out of a total of 153 homes making it approximately one third of the total of homes.

The HOA is located at the end of Stoney Creek Lane at a place where Bishops Branch and Morgan Branch (two tributaries of the Town Creek River) join. It is a quiet, but friendly rural atmosphere with culs-de-sac at the end of each court. Each cul-de-sac is terminated with a rotary and each rotary has vegetation that is kept trimmed by a landscaper, hired by the HOA. At the rear of the property are wetlands with deer, woodpeckers, fox, possum, raccoon, beavers and more.
